MURRAY SHAWN GIBSON
June 26, 1959 - August 5, 2021

With heavy hearts, we announce that Murray Gibson passed away on August 5, 2021 at the age of 62.
He is survived by his daughter Dee-dee, (James); brother Andy; nephew Michael (Tiffany); great-nephews, Garrick, Ryker and Tucker; as well as extended family and many close friends.
Murray was a devoted father to Dee-dee, and did the best he could to come to every hockey game. He even made it to a few beer league softball games. He never shied away from sharing stories of triumphant plays and outstanding catches of his younger years. Murray had a story for everything and always had a way of captivating those around him.
He had the best sense of humour and was the greatest at cracking jokes. Murray enjoyed spending time with all of his childhood friends and talking all things car related! A couple of his favourite pastimes were going to the race track with his dad, rock concerts with his friends and going out for breakfast with loved ones.
We would like to thank the numerous health care staff at both Health Science Centre as well as St. Boniface Hospital.
A celebration of Murray's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday August 28, 2021, at Tony Roma's, 656 St. James Street.
