My condolences to the Brunette family. I remember seeing Denis in the stores and then when he was a produce buyer in the Produce Warehouse on King Edward St. You had to be a very organized person to do this job as you are sourcing extremely perishable products several days away from Winnipeg and trying to get them to the stores as fast as possible for your shoppers to enjoy these at home. Denis and I worked together at the Safeway store on Marion street in St. Boniface when we were both quite a bit younger. I always enjoyed his company. We spent many nights at the Maginot arena watching the St. Boniface Saints hockey team. I was lucky enough to see him at Actionmarguerite (just by chance).
