BASIL REID
He leaves to mourn his wife of 65 years, Dorothy Reid; children, Donna, Julie Dacosta (Raul), Basil and Michael (Linucia); sister Pauline, as well as many grandchildren. He was predeceased by son Tony.
Basil was born in Jamaica in 1930. As an adult he moved to England for several years then settled in Winnipeg. Here Basil worked for the school board in many different capacities. He also worked for Winnipeg transit. In retirement Basil pursued many hobbies with painting as his main passion.
Basil will be greatly missed by not only his family but many, many long time neighbours and friends.

We've been neighbours for decades and there are so many memories of Basil and you and your family...most significant are of Basil dropping by for an Art Lesson from Tom. They'll be painting together now.
