TERESA (TERRI) PEARL LUCYK

On Saturday, September 11, 2021, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, the Lord called Terri home. She passed away peacefully at home, with her family by her side.
Terri was predeceased by her parents, Francis (Frank) and Katherine (Pearl) Green. She leaves to mourn her husband of 42 years, Barry; children, Tyler (Danielle) and Paul (Petra); granddaughters, Nikolina and Isabella; her sisters, Judy (Bill), Joanne (Mel) and Linda (Dave); as well as their children and grandchildren.
Terri was always very family and community-oriented, putting everyone before herself. She worked at Holy Redeemer Parish for 20 years and participated in numerous groups including: the Ladies Auxiliary, Sharing Fair, Prayer Formation Healing, Prayer Shawl Ministry, Donwood School breakfast program and the flowers for CancerCare fundraiser. Family was a large part of her life, taking multiple trips to see her sisters across North America and being her parent's primary caregiver in their last years. Her laugh was her trademark and could instantly light up a room. She also enjoyed spending the summers at the family cottage on Davidson Lake, it was her special place. A lot of her interests included the entire family whether it was blueberry picking, preserving, soap making or crafts with her granddaughters. Terri made many close lifelong friends as shown when her health was deteriorating. Countless prayers, calls, well wishes and meals were delivered daily. She was truly blessed to have them in her life as they were to be in hers.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Niraula and Dr. Beshara at CancerCare and the Palliative Care Program for their care.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in her name.
