I offer my deepest condolences to the Farmer family. I knew Don in the 70's. He lived with my mum, my sister and myself in Aldergrove BC. I've always thought of Don over the years. I'm sad to hear he has passed. I would have loved to have talked to him one more time. He was always laughing and taught me a few songs I still know the words to. He grounded me several times and I deserved it every time. He was a big boisterous figure in our lives. I'll never forget when he let me drive his Cadillac telling me " Don't scratch the car" the whole way. May you rest peacefully Don. I will never forget you. - Posted by: Leah Bowery (Someone who loved him) on: Dec 01, 2021

I miss you Uncle Donnie so much (I know you hated the name Donnie, lol). You were more like an older brother than an uncle considering you were only 10 when I was born. You can rest peacefully now with Brenda (she passed away on Fathers day 2021) She will take care of you again. Max is doing great with Heather and having fun with his bigger younger fur sister and Heather's kids. Please say hi to Grandma and Grandpa Jack, Joyce, my mom and of course, don't forget to say hi to Scruffy for me!! Love you always! Kim - Posted by: Kim Zebiere (Niece) on: Nov 22, 2021

My heart goes out to Don's family, his loss is felt here at work by those who knew him. He was a gentle giant, many times he was accompanied by his puppy and he was always smiling! He was part of our Lotto Max group for a number of years. He said he had a dream that I had one a large lottery and he wanted to make sure he was in on it! I haven't collected from the group for a couple of years now but I still play the numbers and if our numbers win BIG, I will remember Don and his daughter and family! Know that you were loved greatly and he will forever be in your heart! Take care, hugs! - Posted by: Leona Rodrigues (Co-Worker) on: Oct 05, 2021

To The Farmer Family, What a Great Loss, Donnie was one of a kind! I'm so sad to hear this, I knew I would always see him on pay days. He'd come in & play PayDay Pool, we used to buy a chip together to try to increase our chances of winning! Bev - You meant the world to him, You were the Best Cook & Baker, he spoke a lot of his family. He was Proud of all of you. Very sad. - Posted by: Corrine Smithson (Co-Worker) on: Oct 04, 2021

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Don's passing. He was a quiet man but always had a smile and a friendly chat to offer. We had a small connection. We both were born on March 1st. Rest in peace Don. You will be missed. - Posted by: DIANNE KENNEDY (NEIGHBOUR) on: Oct 02, 2021
