PETER L. PROSKURNIK
May 8, 1962 – October 1, 2021
Peter leaves behind his loving partner Bev; daughter Madolyn; siblings, Anna (Haley), Stephen (Marcy) and Alex (Breeze); as well as numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Baba Looey.
He was predeceased in death by his mother Nell; father Peter A.W. and sister Christina.
Peter was a loving partner, father and friend. He was a generous and fun-loving person that would help anyone and made many friends along the way. He loved being a father and family man. Nothing made him happier than spending time with his daughter, or his siblings playing hockey, golf and family card games.
An avid boater, he loved spending time on the lakes and rivers of Manitoba. Peter was also passionate about fitness, dedicating time to the gym even up until a month before his passing. He was also skilled at model car building and won numerous awards for his craftsmanship.
For most of his career, Peter worked in the commercial flooring industry where he made numerous long lasting business connections and friendships. For many years he worked closely with his dad in the flooring industry.
Peter will be sorely missed, forever remembered and always loved.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
As per Peter's request, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

My condolences to Peter's family and friends. Peter and I played hockey way back as kids. I have fond memories playing with Peter and his Dad. They referred to us as the kid line. We have bright memories of Peter through our community of wellness friends. We loved his energy, positivity and open smile.
