  • It was sad news to learn of Gary's passing. No matter the occasion, Gary was always a caring and thoughtful gentleman. His warm hospitality in welcoming us (with my late husband Bill) to his home, of many years ago in Thunder Bay, still stands so clearly in my mind. Always a great party! Truly he will be missed. I was pleased to visit with him and Gilberte summer of 2019 in Winnipeg. My deepest condolences to Gilberte, Shelley, Shannon and family. I wish you strength and courage at this sad time and the road ahead. Helen Wright (Toronto) - Posted by: Helen Wright (Friend in Toronto ) on: Oct 13, 2021

  • Dear Gilberte, Shelly, Shannon and families, We were so saddened to hear of Gary’s passing. It’s been many years since we were together but you have all been in our thoughts. Facebook reunited us and it was wonderful to see your family celebrations. Gary was always smiling and so happy to be surrounded by love. He was kind, funny and had a generous heart. The world needs more Gary’s! He will be missed. Jennifer sends her condolences, she always hoped Gary was the real Mr. Dressup! Our love and deepest sympathies to you all. - Posted by: Linda and David Hamilton (Friends ) on: Oct 12, 2021
