JOAN FARACI
(FARRAR) (SAWATZKY)
At 94 years of age, Joan received her wings.
She was predeceased by her parents, Robert Farrar and Jenny Kinghorn; brother Robert Farrar; sister Geraldine Higgins; husbands, Jacob Sawatzky and Sam Faraci and her great-grandson Aaron Sawatzky.
She is survived by her only son Robert (Cherylene) Sawatzky; her grandchildren, Melanie (Geoff), Chantelle (Patrick), Amber (Alex) and James; and nine great-grandchildren; as well as her extended family of Sandra, Sharon (Gerry), Phillip and their families; and many nieces and nephews.
Thank you to the staff of Park Manor for their care of her and thank you to the St. James Legion and the Ladies Auxiliary.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at the St. James Legion. Due to COVID, there are limited restrictions and double vaccination is required.

I met Joan when she was married to Sam Faraci. Front what I could see, Joan liked to be up and about and going out all the time, shopping or just getting out of the house. She was pleasant every time I ran into her. She was a stepmother of my friend Sharon and Philip and Sandra and that’s how I became to know who she was. I give my condolences to the families on both sides, on Sam's side as well as Joan side.
