Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • I knew Jim from when I used to work at MHERC, he was such a kind man. He came into the library almost everyday and I enjoyed our conversations and loved hid genuine joy of Wikipedia. I haven't talked to him since 2019, but I think of him often. He was genuinely a nice guy. My condolences to his family and close friends. • I didn't work closely with Jim or know him well but I do sincerely offer my condolences to Jim's family and friends. Losing someone is hard but even harder when they were entitled to so many more years of life. - Posted by: Deanna Zaretski (Colleague at AAFC ) on: Nov 03, 2021

  • When I was a teenager and young adult, I remember having interesting discussions with Jim on online forums about transit and urbanism in Winnipeg. We both cared about the city and making it better. He will be missed. RIP. - Posted by: Lee (Fellow Urbanist) on: Oct 30, 2021
