Offer Condolences or MemoryEMANUEL (MANNEY) TEIXEIRA FERNANDES

It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our dear husband, father and son.
Emanuel is survived by his loving wife Pamela, his son Enzo and his mother Odilia; his aunts, Edie, Maria and Isabel; his cousins, Nelson, Mike, John, Joe and Filomina. He also leaves behind father and mother-in-law Eduardo and Delia; his brother-in-law Paolo and Cristina with niece and nephew Pauleen and Clark and his best friend Rode.
Emanuel attended Red River College. His first dream was to become a technical engineer, later he took several courses on environmental health and safety.
Emanuel worked at Duha Colour Services as colour lab technician and as health and safety coordinator for 14 years. Later he became environmental health and safety coordinator at PPG which he enjoyed doing work related travel around Canada and the United States. He worked at PPG for seven years until PPG shutdown and presently worked at Magellan Aerospace.
Emanuel, or Manney as we call him, enjoyed listening to good music, watching movies and documentaries, playing video games and wrestling with his child. Emanuel was a wonderful husband and father always putting his family first.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends, especially his great smile.

I was very shocked and saddened to hear about the passing of Manny. I had the pleasure of working with him for years, at Duha Color Services. Manny was unique - his initiative took him farther than most, as he moved from a technical position to process improvement and finally health & safety. Throughout it all he was focused, friendly and un-wavering in his passion for people, our company and community. For me, he was inspiring. It’s not easy to completely transition from one profession into another - and to do it so successfully. Yet, he did it and moved on to be successful in so many ways. My heart goes out to the family and Manny will always be remembered fondly by his Duha family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
