Ellyson was my Banquet Manager at the International Inn in 1993. Duke, as he was famously known to us, was so proud of his family and his Tobago and Trinidad heritage. It was a privilege to meet someone who was as nice and kindhearted as him. May you rest in peace Duke and have a drink for me where ever you are. I worked with "Duke" at the Northstar Inn in Winnipeg back in the 1980s and I remember him well as a friendly, classy and highly professional hotel manager who everyone liked and respected.
