KATHERINE MARTENS
(UNGER)
September 24, 1932 - November 19, 2021

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
Katherine was a loving energetic mother who loved cooking, sewing, crochet, cross stitching, fishing and gardening.
Mom was born in Old Rosenort. Mom grew up in the family farm north of Homewood from 1944.
Mom loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mom had many nephews and nieces that she loved to spend time with.
She was predeceased by her parents, George and Elizabeth Unger (Reimer); siblings, Albert, Jake (Mary), John (Helen), Marge and Elsie; sister-in-law Marie, nephew Bradly. Mom will be missed by her family, Gerald (Audrey), Don (Phyllis), Richard, Judith (Alvin), and Doug (Kerry). Grandchildren, Jason, Ashton, Brett, Katrina, Riley, Lauren, and Tyler; Great-grandchildren, Masen, Dahlie and Kenhlie; and her surviving siblings, Cornelius (Beth) and Abe (Pat).
The family would like to say thank you to Extendicare Red River Place.
A funeral service will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Vaccine cards and ID will be checked upon entry. Online Livestreaming will be available for those who are not able to attend at cropo.com.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Research.
Celebration of Life at a later time.
