He will be remembered, missed and loved always by his wife Laura; daughters, Sarah (Shawn) and Hanna; father Reinhard and siblings in Germany; mother-in-law Susan Nikkel; and extended family and friends in Germany and Canada.
Cremation has taken place and a private memorial will be held at a later date.
