I was sorry to hear of Herr Banek's passing. Although I never got to know him well, I was left with the impression of a very fine person. Requiescat in pacem. - Posted by: Chris Oelkers (Acquaintance) on: Apr 30, 2022

My sincere condolences to the family. We lived down the street for many years, and he was always out in the neighborhood delivering his papers and visiting along the way. Our family and his grew up together. He will be sadly missed. - Posted by: Shirley christie (Neighbor) on: Dec 27, 2021

Was very sorry to see that Reinhard passed away. Always loved seeing him at the clinic. We would talk about gardening and how his tomatoes were. He was a very nice man and we'll miss seeing him. - Posted by: Dianne and Kendra (Winnipeg Hearing) on: Dec 15, 2021

After sixteen years in New Haven, Connecticut, we retired back to Winnipeg. We little knew how fortunate we were to buy a house on Aspen Cove. Ron lived just a few doors down, and in his own quite way welcomed us and made us feel part of a neighborly community. As he delivered flyers, grew vegetables, or helped with snow removal throughout the neighborhood, there was little that he missed, and we all felt secure and blessed by his unobtrusive presence. He was a great man (but not a flashy one) in so many of the important ways. He is missed, but fondly remembered, as someone worth emulating in his quiet acts of goodness and neighborly kindness. May his legacy endure in those of us touched by his life. - Posted by: Jon and Jean Bonk (Neighbor) on: Dec 15, 2021
