ROENA JOHNSTON
She fiercely loved her family and will be greatly missed by her daughter Bev McNeill; son-in-law Paul Funk; grandchildren, Kent McNeill (Julie), Karla Gutierrez (Arno), Dustin Funk (Lauren), and Shanda Funk; great-grandchildren, Mitchell, Kahlan (Heungchul), Connor, Gavin, Lincoln, McKenna, Lane, and Mathias and her older sister Mildred Berry, of Edmonton.
Roena was predeceased by her husband Ken Johnston in 1975 and we can only imagine the joy of that reunion in Heaven's unending light. She was also predeceased by her beloved daughter Sharyn and son-in-law Dan who will also be part of that wonderful gathering. We look forward to the day that we will all be together.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Oasis Church, 940 Elmhurst Rd, Winnipeg, MB R3R 3X7.
Roena will be laid to rest, next to her husband, during a private graveside ceremony in Brookside Cemetery.

Rowena was a beautiful woman of God. She loved her family. Always bubbly and had hugs for everyone. Bev, my condolences on the passing of your mom.
