WILLIAM GRANT JONES
January 4, 1954 - December 29, 2021
After a courageous battle with cancer, Grant passed away on December 29, 2021, in the Riverview Health Centre, at the age of 67.
He is survived by his partner Shannon; daughter Brin; sister Carol Guest (Gary); nephews, Ryan Guest (Amy) and Cory Guest (Sarah); great-nephews, Tylar, Cooper, and Zachary; step-children, Ferron (Pierry) and Anthony; and former spouse Jody. He was predeceased by his parents, Russell and Mildred Jones.
In accordance with Grant's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Grant's life is planned for early summer and will be communicated at that time. In the meantime, Grant's family kindly requests that his friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour his memory by visiting his tribute page at EthicalDeathCare.com. We just found out about Grant’s passing. From all of Grant’s friends and colleagues at MTEC I want to express our profound sadness. He was a kind man and a wonderful instructor. As Shannon lives across the street from myself I had the pleasure of meeting Grant a few years ago. He always went out of his way to speak to me when we were out working in the yard. Grant was such a gentle man and he always would end our conversations with "it was really nice speaking to you". I know he will be missed by Shannon and her family and all who knew Grant.
