(nee SAWCHUK)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear sister, Virginia Bistyak (nee Sawchuk) on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Oakview Extended Care Home, Winnipeg.
She was predeceased by her parents, Annie and Anton Sawchuk; brothers, Danny and Billy; sisters, Stephanie Shumilak and Olga Sims.
She will be lovingly missed by her brothers, George (Doris) Sawchuk and Richard Sawchuk; sisters, Kathy Betker and Vera Sawchuk; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and a service will take place at a later date.
The family would like to thank all the staff at Oakview.
Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
