KIRIAKI (KOULA) CAVADAS
(nee KONTZAMANIS)
January 10, 1935 - January 13, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Kiriaki (Koula), peacefully on January 13, 2022.
Koula is lovingly remembered by her husband Stamatios (Tom); sons, Bill (Demetra), Tino (Francesca), Phillip and Angelo (Vicky); as well as her beloved grandchildren, Alexandra, Madeleine and Sophia, whom she loved and cherished with all her heart. Koula is survived by her sister Lemona and her brother; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Koula was predeceased by her father Evangelos, mother Angeliki; as well as her brother John.
Born in Vavili, Chios, Greece, Koula immigrated to Winnipeg in 1955 and married Stamatios (Tom) in 1957. Koula was a very caring and loving wife, mother and grandmother and her greatest passion in life was her family. Her grandchildren remember her infectious laugh and her witty sense of humour. Koula loved to cook and was best known for her amazing homemade dolmathes.
We would like to thank her many caregivers and friends for their loving care and support.
Due to current COVID restrictions, a private funeral service with Reverend Father Nikolaos Tambakis presiding, was held at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
