JEREMY GUSTAVE BOCKSTAEL
September 1, 1977 January 17, 2022
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jeremy Gustave Bockstael, on January 17, 2022 after a very courageous battle with cancer.
Jeremy will be deeply missed by his wife Kristin Bockstael; dog Lambeau; parents, Jackie and Allan Bockstael; brother Tommy Bockstael; and countless friends and family.
Over the course of his life, Jeremy held a few jobs, but one by far that he loved the most was working at Canada Post. This is where he spent the last of his working days and eventually retiring. He was proud to be a post office worker and will never forget the invaluable friendships he made with his coworkers.
It is no secret that Jeremy was a huge Green Bay Packers fan. Over the years he was able to build an incredible, ultimate fan collection of Green Bay merchandise. Never missing a game; he wore his cheese head hat with pride.
His love of football and spending Sundays with friends and family also led him to build The Pick'Em Palace. This is when "Boris" was created and introduced, creating an outlet to keep him busy and engaged. Creating videos and cheering his Green Bay Packers, while poking fun at others kept him busy and enjoying his time at home.
Jeremy always said that he was going off to his mansion in the sky, overlooking the ocean he loved so dearly. "This isn't a goodbye, but a see you later."
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
"The measure of who we are is what we do with what we have" Vince Lombardi.

I met Jeremy when we both started at Canada Post and commuted to/from work together after discovering we lived in the same neighbourhood. I will miss the hilarious chats and our shared love of the Packers. I’m so grateful to have been able to have a few last chats before moving out of province, not knowing they’d be our last. Life is short and reminds us to be kind for we can be robbed of goodness at any moment. I will miss the goodness in you, my friend. Rest easy. - Posted by: Basia (Coworker/Friend) on: Jan 24, 2022
