My sincere condolences to Ricardo's family and friends. I only knew Ricardo for a few short months but we connected right away. He wanted to get on the water with his dear friend, and learn SUP. He was a natural, athletic, quiet, and observer. He wasn't scared to laugh and fall in. He was such a joy to be around. His zest for paddling was admirable. Always seeking new places and wanting to experience what we called Blue Mind. I am deeply saddened. I know he was hoping to get back out this spring. May he be paddling, playing soccer, and telling stories that always had a lesson. May he be at peace. Rest easy, Ricardo. - Posted by: Lesley Gaudry (Stand Up Paddleboard instructor and friend ) on: Feb 08, 2022

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. My heartfelt condolences to the family! I met Ricardo at Hatch. We shared a passion of music, often exchanged songs, and talked about them. He was taken too early, not fair! - Posted by: Ria Dubrow (Former co-worker) on: Jan 28, 2022

I did not know Ricardo on a personal level, but he was a professional colleague. He had high expectations of his co-workers and was a hard-nose when it came to following procedures to ensure high quality output for our clients. I once won a quality award and it meant a great deal more to me when I found out it was he who nominated me. My condolences to Ricardo's family and friends. - Posted by: Mike (Co-worker) on: Jan 25, 2022

I knew Ricardo for over 20 years. I am sad to hear the news, but I hope the suffering that he must have gone through is now over. I certainly missed him. When I was still living in Winnipeg, we used to occasionally went out for lunch together... mostly at the Indian restaurant nearby. I went to one of the local soccer games when he was the referee. I had one of his CD with beautiful music that he created with his band group. Rest in Peace, Ricardo Ramli - Posted by: Ramli Halim (working colleague) on: Jan 25, 2022

I was so sorry to hear about Ricardo's passing. I knew what a fighter he was and was really hoping he would win his battle. He was a very private person but there were things he couldn't hide. He was mischievous, meticulous, passionate about what he believed in, caring, had a great sense of humor, and always willing to help out. My heart goes out to you all. I know what you have lost and only hope that you have enough cherished memories to carry you through this most difficult time. - Posted by: Susan Mills (Co-Worker/Friend) on: Jan 25, 2022
