PAULINE ISABELLE GROUETTE
I have certainly had a "good life." I have been very lucky to have learned so much throughout my life from family, friends, co-workers and all of you who brought me laughter. It makes you so much happier to chose to love the things that you have. I've decided to do this because being acknowledged once I am dead will mean nothing to me. I want to acknowledge the people who have most impacted my life.
Claude, I owe everything to your unconditional love. You have always been my rock, my common sense and a teacher of how life should be lived. I will love you forever. I have learned so much from you. Our sons Robin and Timothy have grown into incredible, well-adjusted young men, despite having me for a mother. We have always been their biggest fan! They gave us four beautiful granddaughters who have all become accomplished young ladies. Allison, Sarah, Kia, and Kayden, you all four have always been my greatest treasured little people who filled my world with laughter and tremendous joy. The sun really rises and sets on you! You are so special; you will always be my everything!
To my daughters-in-law, Pauline, Connie and Mikki; I have learned different things from each of you and your families. Thank you for the laughter on your "Mother of the year" comments and thank you for all the laughter. It was a great privilege to have shared my life with all of you! Thank you for your love and understanding throughout, although I am sure that on some occasions I saw eye-rolls, went home and laughed. My dear sisters: Aline, Laurette, Rolande, and Lucie, remember the laughter we shared every time we had our little reunions. There probably was alcohol involved but was it fun! If you have laughter, you have love and how can you not be happy? Key the laughter!
My in-laws also contributed to fulfilling my life; Louis and Rita, Don, Gaylene, Vivianne, Annette, Diane and Evelyn. Little bits of your lives snuck into my life and made it so much better. Thank-you! Thank you to all my previous co-workers! I have been so lucky to work with people and "bosses" who were so down-to-earth and welcoming in every aspect. It makes your work so enjoyable and, of course, a little laughter never hurts.
My book club buddies, volleyball ladies and all friends too numerous to mention, thank-you for graciously putting up with me. I can't forget the baseball team- we did win a few games. It was all so much fun, even if I wasn't your best player. Thanks for letting me play with you. I also leave numerous nephews and nieces who have always played a large part in my life. I was always good to see you. I want to thank all my cousins from all over as well as nieces and nephews who acknowledged Claude and myself by attending all the celebrations and parties. I know these were not just a few. It was always nice to see you and your families, and you for your interest in staying in touch.
Ladies of Silver View, there are no others like you! Thank you so much for the fun Saturdays! As mentioned before, laughter is the best and you brought that out. All other residents were always all so friendly and inclusive- great place to move to.
To all mentioned, I have loved and enjoyed you all! Keep laughter in your life- you'll be glad of it! I'm sorry to have to say goodbye, but there it is .bye.

Our family extends condolences to Claude and family on the passing of a fine colleague. I can hear Pauline’s voice and, of course, her laughter even after all these years since we worked in St. Adolphe together. Pauline went well above her office duties making sure that the students followed rules of the school, always in a positive tone! I remember her for her strong work ethic and always willing to help however she could when I needed it!! She will be very missed! My condolences to Claude, Robin, Tim and the rest of the family. I will always remember all the good times and laughter we shared throughout the years. The times spent with family at your place, by the pool, the bbq's with all the kids running around were some of the best times. I also enjoyed our trip to Cuba with the family, and the many trips to visit and stay with you. Sending you lots of love. Pauline was a great woman and she will be greatly missed.
