ROSE MARIE GOZANSKY
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother Rose Marie Gozansky (nee Beck) on Saturday, January 22, 2022.
She was predeceased by her husband Bernard Gozansky; grandson Michael Aitkenhead; her parents, William and Alice Lavallee; and five brothers, Lawrence, Alex, Elmer, Leonard and Daniel; and her two sisters, Josie and Isabel.
She leaves to mourn her seven children, Brenda Lavallee (Dammie), Lloyd Appleyard (Laura), Cathy Bouley (Ira), Bill Beck (Cheryl), Yvonne Palahitski (Doug), Diana Martel (Vince), and Darryl Beck, her eighteen grandchildren, forty-nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn her six sisters, Margaret Chaboyer (John) Jenny Lavallee, Shirley Chartrand, Marlene Moar (Norman), Eva Lavallee, Cassie deWolf (James); and three brothers Gerald Lavallee, Robert Lavallee, and Reginald Lavallee (Heather), and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mom was raised and grew up in Harperville, MB with her grandparents, Albert and Elizabeth Appleyard. She loved driving her school bus for H&S Transport and being a dispatcher for Red Patch until she retired in 1991. She loved knitting, playing bingo, singing as well as playing her guitar. She will be missed by many.
A private family service will be held.
