PETER UNWIN
We are sad to announce the passing of Peter John Nicholas Unwin on January 31, 2022 at the Victoria Hospital in Winnipeg.
Peter was born in Alexandria, Egypt on December 6, 1942. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Nancy; his son John (Valerie) and two granddaughters, Mylo and Marley. He leaves behind close friends, Gary and Brenda Colyer, and many more friends and acquaintances. He is predeceased by his mother, Mary.
Peter came to Canada as an infant and grew up in Winnipeg, MB. He spent the majority of his working life as a letter carrier for Canada Post. Peter was always a very social man who made many friends throughout his life. In his retirement, he could often be found outside tending to his yard and beautiful gardens. In his more recent years, he liked going to Prime at the Deer Lodge Centre and enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.
We'd like to thank the Victoria Hospital nurses, doctors and support staff for their care and support during his time there.
A private family service will be held.

Nancy, John and family - I am so sorry for your loss. I have so many wonderful memories of growing up spending time with you.
