DONATO DIFINO
Donato passed away peacefully on February 15, 2022, with his family by his side at the Grace Hospital.
Funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 22, at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Avenue, Winnipeg. Viewing is at 10:00 a.m., eulogy at 11:00 a.m., followed by the funeral liturgy. Due to the current pandemic restrictions, only fully vaccinated persons will be allowed to enter the parish (QR code and ID will be checked at the door). Please do not attend if you are experiencing any Covid symptoms. Burial will be located in the Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery.

Dear Teresa, Anna and Eleonora, Teresa and I would like to extend our most heartfelt condolences for the loss of your husband and father. I always considered Donato to be a special friend having worked together for 32 years. He was indeed a special person, he was a quiet, polite, kind, generous and a gentle man. Donato was the type of a man that I could trust with anything, that's the man he was. Being away from Winnipeg, I regret not having spent more time with him or being in touch over the years, even though he was always in my thoughts. Last fall I phoned him to catch up on everything and I made a promise that next time I came to Winnipeg we would see each other, but the good Lord took him to heaven before I could see him again...
