JACOB (JAKE) SAWATSKY
March 19, 1934 – February 21, 2022
With broken hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Jake Sawatsky in Winnipeg, MB.
He leaves behind his wife of 65 years, Mary Sawatsky (nee Unger) of Winnipeg, MB; his daughters, Debra of Winnipeg, MB and Gerry (Jeff); grandsons, Jake and Jesse Nagazine of Vancouver, BC, Teresa, (Gord) of Hillside Beach, MB and grandsons, Eric and Scott Pelletier of Trail, BC. He was predeceased by his daughter Darlene.
He worked at Canada Packers for 33 years and retired in 1988.
Cremation has taken place in Winnipeg, MB. A private family service for Jake and daughter Darlene will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of MB or a charity of your choice.
