RONALD RUDOLPH MEISNER
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Meisner, aged 87, on February 19, 2022.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of 59 years, Marjorie; his son Stewart and his two brothers. Ron is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth (Grant) and Angela.
Ron was born in Maryfield, Saskatchewan. He joined the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry at 18 and was shipped to Korea in 1951. After returning home, he joined the Air Force serving as a mechanic for 28 years. He then went to work for Bristol Aerospace for 14 years, before him and Marjorie retired to Matlock.
Ron loved singing and making everyone laugh. He made friends everywhere he went and was always the first to get involved wherever he was needed.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
