Ursula was truly a remarkable woman. She was a neighbor and dear friend of my in-laws, Stan & Irene Bader, and when my daughter Chelsea was born, they would often visit with her. As years went by, Ursula would attend Chelsea's choir concerts with us and even an award ceremony hosted by the Manitoba Historical Society where Chelsea detailed the events of Ursula's life and courageous immigration story. Ursula was an incredibly kind-hearted woman who will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by us all. - Posted by: Darlene & Chelsea Chimilar (Friend) on: Mar 24, 2022

My heart is heavy with sadness at hearing about the loss of your dearest Mom. She was a gem of all gems and had a profound lifelong impact and influence on my life during the 52 years I knew her. She was a great friend, mentor and "adopted mother" I last spoke with her on her 99th birthday this past January and was hoping to see you once again this summer. Even though I moved to BC in 1980 we kept in touch with her and she was close with my deceased Dad Stan and stepmother Irene. We will all miss her dearly and want you to know how much she meant to me and my family. She is now at rest without pain or sorrow and one day I know we will see her again. For now we cherish every memory we had and reserve a special place in our hearts for her. So Blessed to have known her! We wish you God's peace and strength as you continue to mourn the loss of your Mom and know we share your sorrow. With love. Danny Bader, Irene Bader and Patricia Burns (Bader) Rest in peace dearest Ursula, we will always love you. xoxo - Posted by: Danny Bader (Long time friend/neighbour) on: Mar 14, 2022

My deepest condolences to the family. Ursula will be sadly missed by all🥲 The many years spent at my salon styling/cutting her hair, everyone was always thrilled to visit with Ursula she made sure to greet everyone with her big smile. My relationship with Ursula felt like a mother/daughter relationship. I’m going to deeply miss my conversations/ advices. I know the last time we saw each other, we said I love you to each other. You kissed me good bye. I will always cherish our moments together. Love you. Jo-Anne - Posted by: Jo-Anne Huyghe (Friend/Hairstylist for34 years.) on: Mar 12, 2022
