PATRICIA MARGARET WATKINS
(née ARSENAULT)

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Patricia on April 9, 2022, at the age of 76 years.
Patricia was predeceased by her husband James. She will be lovingly remembered by her son James (Linda); daughter Kimberley (Paul); grandchildren, Megan (Ryan) and Jack; and great-grandpuppies, Cooper and Wally. She will also be missed by her family, extended family and friends.
Mom stayed home with us, until we started school, while Dad worked. Then Patricia worked a few jobs, where she made numerous friends. She always kept in touch with co-workers long after leaving the workplaces. Mom was genuinely interested in people and their lives. Later in life, Patricia decided to follow her passion for helping people and became a certified Health Care Aide. Mom's determination during her studies and pride in her accomplishment were inspirational.
She will be remembered for her love, generosity and caring for her family and friends, especially her children, grandchildren and many family dogs. Her grandchildren always left the house with a "little something for you" to get themselves a treat.
Mom always remembered people's birthdays and called them to sing every year. Her desire to make people feel special on their day is a tradition that we will carry on.
Mom loved time with family and enjoyed many "road trips". The Grand Canyon and her love of Las Vegas are treasured memories. Weekend drives out to Lockport to Half Moon and sitting down by the water eating hot dogs/fries or a breakfast at Sal's were a few of Mom's favourite things to do.
Patricia was loved and will be missed by her many friends and family.

Thank you for being
such a wonderful Mom!

Interment will take place at Brookside Cemetery at a later date. In the meantime, Patricia's family kindly requests that her friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour her memory by visiting her tribute page at EthicalDeathCare.com. A photo-biography, as well as memories and stories published by those who knew her, are available there.
We would like to thank the wonderful and compassionate nurses/health care aides who cared for Mom with a genuine loving spirit.

I was able to know Pat and she had a heart of gold. After my mom passed away I had lost contact with Pat. I do know Pat loved her family and was very proud of her kids & grandchildren.
