RICHARD ALAN BROWN
September 5, 1946 - April 30, 2022

Rick died peacefully at home, embraced by the love of his family: wife Judy; children, Sarah (Keith McConnell), Craig (Laura Kent), and Glen (Laura); and his beloved grandchildren, Colleen and Kyle McConnell, Cailan and Camille Brown, and Stevie Brown. He is also survived by his mother Alice.
Rick was a graduate of the University of Manitoba Faculty of Pharmacy where he obtained both a bachelor and a master's degree. After a short period in retail pharmacy, Rick elected to work as an inspector for the federal government until the end of his career.
Golf was his passion. Nothing gave Rick greater pleasure than being on a golf course, especially accompanied by his children and grandchildren. When not golfing, he enjoyed crossword puzzles, jigsaws, puttering around the house and most of all TV.
A quiet man by nature, Rick showed his love for the people he cared for by his deeds; always willing to help family and friends in whatever way he could.
Rick will be remembered for his love of family. One could not ask for a more loyal, constant and caring husband, father, grandfather, and son. He truly was a blessing.
The family would like to thank Rick's palliative care nurse, Trish.
At Rick's request, there will not be a service.
Donations in Rick's name may be made to a charity of your choice.
