Condolences & Memories (7 entries)

  • Norm was such a kind, pleasant, caring, smart man - always had that twinkle in his eye. Not the loudest voice in the room, very often the most thoughtful and fair minded. He and Jeanne were some of my parents very closest friends for the last 30 years - dancing, travelling, playing cards, coming to the lake. We mourn Norm’s passing, but are incredibly grateful to have known him and considered him a very close friend. Our thoughts and prayers for Norm and his family. - Posted by: Andrew Steiman (Family Friend) on: Jun 20, 2022

  • Bruce, Teri and family, I am sorry to hear about the loss of your father, father-in-law, and grandfather. I remember the stories you shared with me and the importance of family was to him. These will be memories forever. You are in my thoughts during this difficult time. Hugs Barbara, Kevin and Jordan - Posted by: Barbara Verschoore (Friend/Coworker) on: Jun 18, 2022

  • Our deepest condolences to Jean and the family. Norm worked with our family for his whole career as a CA and we thank him for his honesty, hard work and friendship. He will be sadly missed by our whole family The Cipryk Family - Posted by: Nancy Cipryk (Worked in business together) on: Jun 17, 2022

  • Sorry to read of Norm's passing. He was a fine gentleman and representative for the CA profession and I enjoyed working with him when he was on Council and various committees over the years. Perhaps my favourite memory was his warm smile and twinkle in his eyes! - Posted by: Robert Caswill (Colleague) on: Jun 16, 2022

  • Condolences to Jean and family. I had the great privilege of working with your husband and father. Few people have the ability to remain grounded throughout their life yet Norm did exactly that. You knew you could count on him to see things clearly, to shed light on uncertainties and to be unselfishly supportive. All this and with an unabashed boyish approach to life. I am very fortunate to have known him. - Posted by: Diane Bastiaanssen (Business associate & friend) on: Jun 16, 2022

  • We met Norm and Jean when each if us moved into Bunn’s Creek almost six years ago. They were both very friendly and while we never got around to socializing we often stopped each other and chatted in the hallways. Norm was a fountain of information when my daughter and son-in-law purchased a winter home in Arizona. He may have been retired but he knew exactly what they needed to do. We will miss his twinkling eyes and quick smile. - Posted by: Georgette Horne (New friend -living in Bunn’s Creek) on: Jun 15, 2022

  • My condolences to the whole family particularly Jean. She will miss him the most. I know Norman for many years and I enjoy his stories. Our visits were filled with a lot of laughs. I will miss seeing him. - Posted by: Mira Straczynski (client) on: Jun 15, 2022
