It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Maria Augusta Craveiro Carvalho on June 21, 2022, at Health Sciences Centre, at the age of 80 years.
Evening prayers are taking place at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg, on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Parish, 181 Austin Street North, Winnipeg, on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue.

I remember the night before my first communion mother sitting at the sewing machine. She sewed me a beautiful white dress. She was always so good to me. Your mother was an earth Angel that made my life a little easier. I only wish that she went with peace and dignity, as she deserved. She inspired me to be strong and that is why I became an ER nurse.
