MILDRED BERNICE O'TOOLE
In loving memory, Mildred Bernice O'Toole departed her loving family on June 25, 2022 after a battle with cancer. Millie was 82 years old.
Millie had many joys, but first and foremost were her family and friends. Millie will be remembered by all who knew her as kind, funny, but most of all with a spirit of generosity that burned bright. Millie brought her warmth to all she took on, especially her work with the Employment and Immigration Commission, where she enjoyed great friendships with her beloved coworkers. Millie and her friends worked tirelessly fundraising for Christmas hampers, a task she led with unmatched energy and joy.
Millie had many hobbies, including her lovely garden, reading, and spending time with those lucky enough to be in her life.
Millie took special pleasure in cooking for her friends and family, and having those she loved taken care of. Millie was an active member of St. Emile Roman Catholic church. She spent many years as a greeter and served as a member of St. Emile's Fellowship Ministry which she enjoyed. Millie's kindness and generosity extended to many non-profit organizations, her favourite being the Siloam Mission.
Millie was predeceased by her mother Stella, and will be greatly missed by husband Robert; brother Jack (Edna); sons, Kevin (Mareena), Shawn (Sydney), Trevor (Alison); and grandchildren, Kaitlin, Brennan, and Duke.
Donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba.

Condolences to the family. Meet Millie through Trevor and Allison and found her to be so welcoming and friendly. I knew her to be a wonderful mother and grandmother to Duke. May great memories fill your hearts. - Posted by: Roger Burns (Acquaintance ) on: Jul 09, 2022
