Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • I met Gilles in January 1985 when I started at Xerox. He was a great mentor to me over the years. Always positive, ethical and committed to providing the best service to customers. We would meet for lunch periodically and reminisce of the times at Xerox. Travelled with Gilles and Val to Bangkok in 1998 or 1999 as part of earning a Xerox President's Club. After the Xerox portion was over, we extended the trip to Phuket. Had great fun over meals and beverages. I last spoke with him in April, but we didn't have a chance to meet for lunch. My condolences to Val and the family. - Posted by: Glenn Davis (Worked at Xerox with Gilles and kept in touch over the years) on: Jul 16, 2022

  • Val and family, We are so saddened by Gilles passing. He was truly a kind, gentle and special man. Both Ayns and I will always treasure so many happy memories of the time we spent with you and Gilles over the years. Lots of great times filled with much laughter, good food, wine and of course, lets not forget shots of Cointreau! Gilles is no longer hurting and I’m sure he is smiling down on everyone enjoying a good shot of Cointreau right now . All our love to you and your family. • Our sincere condolences to Val and family. We have a lot of fond memories of our years of gourmet dinners, with the last get-together in 2017 hosted by Val and Gilles in Texas. Lots of laughs, fun times, long lasting memories! We will miss you, Gilles, but you won’t be forgotten! - Posted by: Monique and Denis (Friend) on: Jul 16, 2022
