Sending my deepest sympathies to the family at this deeply saddened time. I loved Aunt Ivy. Ever summer, as kids we would visit from Ontario and stay with my Uncle Bruce and Aunt Ivy. We would always visit her at the drugstore and she would let us pick out any treat we wanted. There was a park just across the street from their house and we spent many hours playing there. In later years,as an adult, I moved out to Alberta but whenever we travelled home we would stop with my own family now and small children and would stay with them and Aunt Ivy always made us feel so welcome. I also remember spending a week with them as a teen and we would go out to the Oasis in the evenings where they loved to socialize with friends. I am glad that we stopped to pay her a visit in 2008 at the nursing home.Sadly, that was the last visit I had with her. Rest in peace, Aunt Ivy. I am sure Uncle Bruce was there waiting for you! - Posted by: Lana Christie (Niece) on: Jul 29, 2022

Heartfelt thoughts to all who had the pleasure to know Aunt Ivy. Her kindness, grin, hearty laugh and wonderful cooking brings so many memories. May your memories of her bring you comfort that she is now at peace and catching up with everyone up above. Forever grateful she and Bruce opened up their home to me so many years ago. Hugs. - Posted by: Lynn & Dale Checkley (Family) on: Jul 20, 2022
