EDWARD ANDREW LOISELLE

November 29, 1930 – August 12, 2022

On Friday, August 12, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away in St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 91.
He will be deeply missed and remembered by his cherished wife of 65 years, Elisabeth, his eldest daughter Lisa Campbell (Rudy Hajer, deceased), their children, Jesse Hajer (Larissa Ashdown-Hajer) and Heidi Boon (Jeremy); son John (Monique Kirouac), and daughters, Sherisse (Patrick Matte) and Leslee Sylvestre (Serge) with mother Cynthia Loiselle (deceased); daughter Amy and her son Kieran Kelly; and youngest son Erich (Lovisa). Edward also felt blessed with his 11 great-grandchildren.
His love of family was combined with his long career in the Norwood School Division as a teacher, vice-principal, and principal. A special part of this was meeting wife Elisabeth while teaching together at Archwood School. With her, he shared his many interests such as travel, movies, literature, card games, and enjoying Manitoba parks and beaches.
The family appreciates the dedicated care provided to Edward by the medical and support staff at St. Boniface Hospital 5A.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Siloam Mission.
Edward's family kindly requests that friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour his memory by visiting his tribute page at EthicalDeathCare.com. A photo-biography, as well as memories and stories published by those who knew him, are available there.

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • Ed was my father in law when I was married to his daughter Amy. Even though I have not seen the family for many years, I really enjoyed his company and counsel. After Ed retired, he amassed a collection of around 2500 movies that were taped on Beta. Sunday dinners at the Jubinville home were a regular occurence when Liz would prepare a spectacular meai and we would "rent" videos from "Ed's Video Store". Ed had a wry sense of humour and I was regularly barbed by his wit. My condolences to Liz and the family. Ed will be missed. • Mr Loiselle was my 6th grade teacher at Archwood School, & my first male teacher. - Posted by: Christine Hallem Ward (Student) on: Aug 22, 2022
