Remembered with love, Ann passed away on September 26, 2022, at age 88, in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Ann was born in Osterwick, Russia on July 3, 1934. She was predeceased by her parents, Dietrich Rempel of Osterwick, Russia and Agatha Rempel (nee Neufeld) of Olgafeld, Russia; her sisters, Mary Toews (John) and Helen Dyck (Abe) and her brothers, William (Bill) Rempel (Justina) and John Rempel (Mary). She is survived by her sister Kate Jordanov, and sister-in-law Justina Rempel.
She leaves to mourn her passing and will be greatly missed by her husband Alex; her three daughters, Sandra Ann Rempel (Warren Clarence), Lori Ericka Mary Lehnert, and Corinne Patricia Sandhurst (Geoff) and their two grandchildren, Kierra Mercedes Quinn Sandhurst and Caelin Wolf Alexander Sandhurst; as well as nieces, nephews, and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, October 6, 1:20 p.m. visitation and 2:00 p.m. service, at 4000 Portage Avenue, with Rev. David Driedger officiating. Relatives and friends will be received for a reception following the service and burial.
In lieu of flowers, donations may made be made to the Mennonite Central Committee.

Auntie Ann, you will be forever remembered in my heart! Memories from my childhood, growing up next door with Sandra, Lori and Corrine! Sleepovers at your house when I was young and the great friendship you had with my parents! My Mother will be overjoyed to have you join her and my dad in Heaven and will encircle her in their arms.
