JAIRAJ (JAY) KHEDKAR
July 9, 1960 - October 20, 2022
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jay. He was predeceased by his parents Shashikumar Khedkar and Sarala (Dalvi). He is survived by his siblings Vinda, Tutu (Tracy) and Uday (JoAnne).
Jay was born in Wichita, Kansas and moved to Winnipeg at the age of 12. He was a very intelligent person and loved mathematics, philosophy, and chess, starting to play the game with his father at a young age and continuing throughout his life. He made friends easily and had many in the chess community as well as throughout Winnipeg. He will be missed.

I knew Jay from when we used to play in chess tournaments together. We had some very good games that I'll always remember! He was a strong player and a good man; someone I was always glad to see.
