ISOBEL MAE MCDONALD
January 22, 1924 - November 26, 2022
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of the gentle matriarch of our family at the age of 98. Isobel passed with family at her side after contracting Covid19 while in hospital for an unrelated illness. She lived a long life full of love and happiness.
The family thanks the doctors and nurses on Ward 3 West, Concordia Hospital who provided wonderful care to Isobel. Special thanks to Dr. Trokajlo who kept out-of-country family updated regularly during a difficult time.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave.

Auntie Belle, we so enjoyed the lunches we had with you at the Sals or at Perkins and will certainly miss having future ones. We always enjoyed our get togethers and of course, your many funny stories. We will miss your stories and your wonderful laugh. You are with Uncle Mel now so that takes away a bit of our sadness. Truly blessed to have known this wonderful lady. She was my best friend's grandmother and I knew her for many many years. She used to make us lunch many times while we were in high school just down the road.. I was blessed to be with Shannon in Arizona at the time of her passing. I had the pleasure of being Isobel's hairdresser years ago. I have so many great memories of her. I have thought of her often over the years and when I think of her, it always puts a smile on my face. Take comfort in your memories as anyone who knew her was truly lucky.
