• We remember today our friend, David Parker. He wasn’t just a man who came to the park with a ball in his hands — he became part of our lives, our games, our community. What began as a small gesture, an invitation to join in, turned into something much greater: friendship, laughter, and meaning. David faced his struggles with courage, and yet he still gave what he could back to society, in his way, through presence, kindness, and the simple joy of play. For him, football was more than exercise — it was connection. It was his social life, and in turn, he gave all of us something to remember. He was close to our hearts, supportive, and remembered by many who played alongside him. We may not have had the chance to say all we wished at the end, but we say it now: thank you, David. Thank you for showing us resilience, for reminding us that companionship matters, and for being part of our story.
