MARUSIA SUKAYLO

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marusia Sukaylo on Friday, March 3, 2023. Marusia is survived by her daughter Jennifer and her sister Wanda.
She was predeceased by her husband Walter, her mother and father, Jennie Pinn and Michael Olejnik.
Always wanting to be a teacher, Marusia fulfilled her lifelong dream of graduating with her B.Ed. degree with her daughter and thoroughly enjoyed her years of substitute teaching at RF Morrison school.
She adored talking with and just being with her husband (Wally) and daughter (Jennifer) - The Three Musketeers - and watching movies together as a family, as well as going on grocery shopping vacations to the States.
Do you know what the most important thing is to remember Mom? I love you. And you know what else? I love you. And guess what else? I love you. Three Musketeers forever and ever. Bop, bop, bop on the nose. Gobble Gobble. Double Double.
Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 737 Bannerman Avenue. Interment to follow in Holy Family Cemetery.

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • Dearest Jennifer...I feel your heartache and share your grief on the passing of your beloved mother. May God welcome your dearly departed mother into His Eternal Kingdom. It was wonderful to see your Mom when she would substitute at our school. The students enjoyed learning from her and making creative art projects with her. She always came with one of your delicious baked treats too. I have so many fond memories of both your mother and father. One special highlight is when she would deliver pearled wheat and crushed poppy seed every December for the teachers in the Ukrainian Bilingual Program to make "Kutia" for Christmas. I pray that God wraps His arms around you and gives you the strength you need to get through this difficult trial. May fond memories of your dear Mom give you comfort, and may her memory be eternal. Вічна їй пам’ять! With my sincerest sympathy and prayers, Rosemarie - Posted by: Rosemarie Todaschuk (Friend) on: Mar 15, 2023
