Under a radiant prairie sunrise, Gemma Patricia Skelton passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 25, 2023 from cancer. The loss is tragic and immense.
An avid traveller and lake lover, who was much loved, Gemma was a source of inspiration for all who had the pleasure of her company. After earning a Bachelor of Education in 1991, Gemma worked in schools in England and Winnipeg, most recently as Vice-Principal at Fort Richmond Collegiate.
She leaves behind her husband Brad Morton; her children, Niall and Patrick; her stepchildren, Vanessa and Zach; her parents, Marie and Peter; her siblings, Anthony and Niamh (Robert) and her nephews, Ben, James, Jack and Rhys. She will forever be missed by her family and friends.
Gemma’s friends and relatives are invited to share their memories on the tribute page at EthicalDeathCare.com, where there are tributes and a photobiography.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 255 Stafford Street, Winnipeg, MB.

I am so sorry for your loss. In the short time at the youth group at St. Emile Church. Gemma was a great president, even though the group lasted too short, she was a good leader. Stan - Posted by: Stan Bruce (Friend) on: Apr 09, 2023
