August 2, 1924 – April 9, 2023
Katherine Penner nee Goertzen, 98, of Steinbach, MB, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2023, following months of declining health.
She is survived by sons Richard and Harvey, and daughter Margaret, and their families.
She was predeceased by her husband John in 1986.
Katherine lived a full life and leaves a tremendous legacy for her family. We could not have had a better mother, Oma, Great Oma, Omie and friend.
Viewing will be held Sunday, April 16th, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB. A private family interment at Memorial Cemetery, Steinbach, MB, will take place prior to the service. The funeral service for Katherine Penner will take place Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.
