With heavy hearts, we announce that LaRaine Winmill passed away peacefully on April 6, 2023, at the age of 87 years.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jack; children, Murray (wife Pam) and Susan (husband John); grandchildren, Caitlin and Ryan.
LaRaine was born and raised in Armstrong, BC and moved to Winnipeg where she met and married Jack. LaRaine led a full life filled with love, laughter, and adventure (travel in over 30 countries). Family was always the focus of LaRaine, and she was a beloved Nana.
In accordance with their wishes, cremation/burial has taken place and no formal service will be held.

I worked at Medicine Shoppe and she was one of my favourite Customers. Often when she called to order a prescription that phone call would turn into a 30 min conversation. I worked there for 7 years and recently left on March 30th. I made sure I called her that day to say good bye … She wished me well and I took her phone number with me to call her to let her know how everything was going. I loved our chats!!
