MARIA ZIOBROWSKI
Maria Ziobrowski was born on February 1, 1935, in Krulik Woloski, Poland.
She moved to Ukraine in 1947 with her family during a time of postwar chaos. In Ukraine she married her husband Kazimir Ziobrowski and had three boys, Stefan, Eugeniusz and Janusz who passed away as a child.
In 1972 she moved her own family to Poland and had another child named Andrzej. In 1988 she moved her family out to Germany and on to Winnipeg.
In 2016 her husband passed away, she loved him to the end of his long life of 88 years. She loved growing tomatoes and making her gardens grow and sharing the bounty with other people.
She will be missed by family and strangers she helped in her long life of 87 years.
Funeral Liturgy will be held on Saturday, May 6 at 10:00 a.m. in Sts. Vladimir & Olga Ukrainian Catholic Metropolitan Cathedral, 115 McGregor St. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
