Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • My heartfelt condolences go out to Pat, Rachel, Curtis and Brett, Stephen, Holly and Florence and Graham and the rest of her family. As Rachel's mother-in-law I had the great privilege of meeting Laura over 17 years ago. Laura was not only my son's Mother-in-law but quickly became a special friend to me. Laura touched my life in the most profound ways and the best was sharing our roles as Grandma and Oma to Brett. Brett will always hear about the gracious, loving, kind and best grandma he had. She spent much time with her grandchildren and I know the joy she had in being with both Brett and Florence. Never have I met or will I meet again the most special friend I found in Laura. Thank you Laura for being such a wonderful mother-in-law to my son. You and Pat welcomed Curtis into your family and made him to feel like one of your own. I know how much your family means to my son and I thank you for that. You also graciously included me in many family gatherings and meals at your table. I will miss you always Laura but I will keep you close in my heart. And as I promised you, Brett will be greatly loved. Rest in peace my dear friend!! - Posted by: Sue Rehberg-Reid (Friend) on: Jul 05, 2023

  • It was my honour to work with Laura many years ago at United Way. She was truly one of the best - warm, diligent and caring. Her smile lit up my days. And she is gone far too soon. May the memories of her beloved family and friends give some comfort. - Posted by: Linda Lamoureux (Former colleague ) on: Jul 02, 2023
