STANLEY THEODORE SCOTT
A month short of 94 years, Stanley Scott, of Winnipeg was released to his heavenly Father on July 9, 2023.
A kind, quiet man, Stan was a cherished, wise parent to Sheron, Garry, Jerry and Beverley.
Stan was predeceased by his wife, Bernice, of 37 years, daughter, Beverley Scott, grandson, Christian Scott; his parents, Jan and Frances Sokalski; siblings, Nellie, Nick, Lillian, Joseph, Rose, Phil, Bernice and Betty and two who died in childhood.
His quiet, gentle, dignified manner, quick wit and intellectual capacity will be sorely missed by his children, Sheron Pickard, Garry Scott, Jerry Scott; his grandchildren, Misty Gogal, Ashleigh Scott (Andrew), Aaron Scott (Rhonda), Jonathan Scott (Jenna) and Cale Scott; great-grandchildren, Annaliese, Elijah, Beverley, Ashyr, Rosalie and Olivia; goddaughter/niece Penny Scott Mazur and many nephews and nieces, and friends.
According with Stan’s wishes, a private family gathering for interment will be held at Queen of Heaven Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, Riverview Palliative Care Program or a charity of your choice.
