Art was a great friend to so many young and old. I knew Art for all my 62 years. For the last few years I caught up with Art at The Wellington where my parents lived for some years themselves. Actually I just found out today that Art had passed away from Jack Robertson long time friend and son of Don and Ev Robertson. I will have memories of Art as an incredible athlete and a great character and conversationalist. 95 years. A life well lived. Condolences to all of the Poole family. Art will never be forgotten. - Posted by: Trevor Porritt (Friend ) on: Dec 10, 2023

Art & Madeleine were longtime family friends, always such fun and so kind to everyone. You were guaranteed a good time at their house. In later years, Art and I reconnected over our horse hobby. He was a wonderful and humorous man, rarely without a smile on his face. He will be missed. Sympathies to Bob and all the family. May your wonderful memories support you. - Posted by: Barbara (Gillatt) Wansbutter (Family friend) on: Aug 03, 2023

I met Art in 1974 just as the City was amalgamating with the Municipality as I worked for the RM of Charleswood and a nicer and more knowledgeable guy you will not find as Art always had a smile on his face. As the years went on we would meet now and then and as life would have it my wife worked at West Park Manor where Art's wife was and we often talked about the City of Winnipeg. He will be missed as Art had many friends and the world is not a better place now that Art has left us. Rest in peace my friend as you earned it ! - Posted by: Brian Graham (Co-worker) on: Jul 30, 2023
