Peacefully, on Monday, August 7, with her husband by her side, Mary passed away at Meadowood Manor. She was predeceased by her parents Julie and Stanley.
Mary is survived by her husband Ralph; her brother John and his wife Shirley; her brother Rick and his partner Marsha; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary and Ralph were married for 52 years. They loved travelling together on cruises, and more recently, they took road trips to casinos in the U.S. as well as home. Her favourite past-times were playing bingo as well as the slots.
Mary leaves behind many great friends. These include her sister-in-law Connie Taylor (who was more like a sister to her), former co-worker Judy Benson and long-time friend Wendy Courchaine.
Special thanks to the staff at Poseidon Personal Care Home and Meadowood Manor for the excellent care that she received as a resident there.
Cremation has taken place. A private family service will occur at a future date.

Mary was a much loved member of our family, and we will miss her dearly. We were lucky enough to become “step” family and share memories together for 25+ years. Some of our favorite memories include when Mary and Ralph travelled to Maui to celebrate our wedding where she loved the hot pink sunnies and shooing away the roosters, and meeting up in Arizona for a GumSimJohnSki Christmas in the desert. Mary and I spent many years together as very close friends. We shared numerous special occasions together. We worked together and played together. She will be missed by those whose hearts she touched.Her and Ralph had many happy years together.
