  • My first encounter with Don and Darlene was in Feb. of 1982. I was a student at LWBI and was itinerating with fellow students and ministering in Don’s church in Thunder Bay. I remember sitting for a meal at their table and looking across the bay at an interesting line of mesas that from a distance outlined what the Folks in the area dubbed The Sleeping Giant. It sure looked like it! Don was a pastor who loved his congregation and later would show the same concern for his students at LWBC. My sincere condolences to Darlene and family. - Posted by: Jairo (Brother in Christ) on: Aug 13, 2023

  • We have many fond memories of working with Don and Darlene during their tenure at Living Word Bible College in Swan River. We enjoyed helping with the magazine, cleaning, painting, spending time together and having a meal or a sundae. We appreciated their church conventions. banquets and grad. services. Our visits with you in Winnipeg are beautiful memories. We'll meet again in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ.
