Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • Jackie was like a parent to me and a mentor. I first met Jackie in Winnipeg Manitoba through youth correction services, for many years Jackie was my rock, providing me with life guidance even taking care of me when I felt ill. She commonly invited myself and my daughter to her home for weekend visits memories in which I cherish I will never forget the blessings in which she brought to my life. She truly was an angel in my world of chaos. She gave me foundation and a feeling of family. I will forever miss you Jackie, I hope her family realizes just how many youth she saved from drugs and violence with her acceptance and her tough love. Her last words to me "I love you, I love you, I love you". Nanâskomowin, Kisci-ayâw Kiki Jackie. You are loved you are appreciated and you are missed. - Posted by: Sherri Marie dicer (Friend) on: Dec 14, 2023

  • Jackie will be dearly missed. I will miss her stories and her wisdom about her and my culture. I used to bring her baby tomatoes fresh out of my garden and she laughed when I called her kookum. She was a spitfire and will be very missed. She will be in my memory and in my thoughts. Condolences to her family. RIP Jackie - Posted by: Maureen (Cargiver) on: Sep 09, 2023
